New Online EDH Community Maps
Wednesday, July 16, 2008
Insight Real Estate is proud to finalize our online community maps for El Dorado Hills. Both maps can be accessed from the Insight Webpage at www.MyInsightRE.com. The EDH VILLAGE MAP is a google map that gives village names and basic information and allows viewers to utilize google maps and zoom in all the way to the street/house level in order to gain a better view of potential properties and areas. This map shows proximity to parks, schools and shopping areas as well as a bird's eye view of terrain and roadways. Our second map is titled COMMUNITY INFORMATION and is presented to give basic village information such as price range and whether a community has an HOA or Mello-Roos in place. We hope that by providing this information to everyone visiting our site, we will allow clients and potential clients the ability to gain valuable knowledge about potential areas they may want to investigate further with the help of an Insight Associate. Feel free to call our office at 916-941-1123 or stop by the Town Center, 4357 Town Center Blvd. Suite 214 to get more information on any village in El Dorado Hills.

Office Expansion
Monday, October 1, 2007
Since Ed Anderson joined the Insight Real Estate team we have had our hands full in keeping up with his recruiting success. He has hired many well respected and seasoned professionals in our local real estate market, as well as less-experienced agents desiring a mentorship relationship. Due to this rapid success we found ourselves needing additional space. We have successfully negotiated our neighbor out of their lease and will soon double our office space. We are currently in the planning stages and expect to begin construction on our expansion by the end of the year. We will keep you posted for our grand opening of our expanded office.

Insight Feasibility Study Completed
Thursday, November 1, 2007
After almost a year and close to $100,000 our research has paid off. Our study has concluded and we have found that not only is there a significant opportunity for our technology in Real Estate, no one else appears to be going in the same direction. We originally came up with an idea for a Real Estate Model that addressed the three entities of your typical transaction, the Broker/Owner, the Agent and the Client. As explained in our launch statement in detail these three entities have different needs. It was during our study where we polled many Agents, Brokers and Clients about our technology that we were pleasantly surprised that not only were all three entities interested in our technology ideas, but they were EXCITED!
Our core technology concepts are simple, we wish to use technology to empower the Broker/Agent/Client relationships, not replace them. You can never replace a good professional with technology. To this end our technology focuses on stream- lining the Office workflow to the benefit of the Broker/Owner, giving every agent a Transaction Facilitator to help them with their paperwork and dead lines during escrow and having a real time communication network in place keeping the Client completely informed on all aspects of their purchase or sale.
By validating our business model with this study we are now moving forward with the architecture of our proprietary software and reviewing design and development platforms and options. We will keep everyone posted to any new events here at Insight Real Estate as they become available.

Insight Real Estate Inc Launched
Thursday, November 1, 2007
On January 11th 2006 Insight Real Estate became an official corporate entity in California. Insight Real Estate Inc. was launched based on the current needs in the real estate market that are not being addressed by other companies. Most real estate companies focus on the Broker Agent relationship and never give any thought to the client. On the other end of the spectrum there are companies that focus on the Broker Client relationships and leave the agent out of the equation. Either way that you look at it both models are incomplete. For a truly successful and rewarding experience to take place in real estate you have to address all three parties the Broker, Agent and Client in a win-win-win business model.
The number one concern with Brokers is a lack of value in what is being offered with many of the brands currently being considered. As a broker you have the option in California to own and operate your own company. When looking at the choices before brokers today they are lacking in what they are truly offering the broker to affiliate with them. The majority of brokers choose to be independent because they do not see a return on their royalty revenue. It is just not worth giving a percentage of your business revenue, in the form of royalties or franchise fees, to a corporate entity if there is not a substantial return on that investment. Insight Real Estate Inc currently has and is developing a host of cutting edge technology tools and systems to empower a Broker-owner like never before.
The California Association Of Realtors performed a study from 2000-2005 with newly licensed agents and they found that after 5 years in a booming market over half of the agents no longer were actively engaged in Real Estate. The number one reason for this based on their survey was Lack Of Broker Support And Agent Training! Most agents come into this field and have little or no experience in being self employed. The reality is that in real estate you have to have the mentality of a business owner to succeed long term. While most brokers teach their agents contracts, disclosures and paperwork to prepare their agents to help their clients that is only one piece of the puzzle. To be a well rounded and successful agent you have to understand time management, people skills, goal orientation, the art of negotiating, setting proper expectations, have good communication skills and many other important skill seds. Real Estate probably has more independent specialized trainers than any other industry. To have so many independent trainers in Real Estate it means that someone is either not training the agents or not doing a good job in the training they are doing. That someone is the office Broker/Manager.
At Insight Real Estate Inc. we do not discourage career trainer and mentor relationships; however with our comprehensive training programs we believe that long-term mentorship will not be necessary and in the end will save the agents a lot of time and money.
